Director of KICD in charge of curriculum development, Mr. John Kimotho, and Permanent Secretary of Ministry of ICT, Hon. Victor Kyalo, visited the HQ office of Tinker Education in Seoul, Korea in October and November of 2016.
Currently, KICD is in the process of reforming the national curriculum to shift from a subject-based to a competence-based curriculum, and the Ministry of ICT is pushing ahead with the integration of ICT in education.
In this context, they visited the HQ office to experience the Korean government’s adoption of eLearning within schools across the country and the advanced STEM education developed by EMCAST.
